Artist's Statement:

Sometimes our journey comes to a halt—slowed by obstacles we can see, or by shadows we cannot name. This figure represents that still point, where progress is paused not by choice, but by forces unclear and confining. The struggle lies in navigating confusion that can feel stifling, even maddening.

And yet, beneath the surface, there is resolve. The release may come easily, or it may demand force from beyond—but one truth remains: this being cannot be held forever. Free will endures, even in stillness.
