Our bodies are remarkable feats of design, each part with its own unique role. Sometimes, it’s worth letting certain parts take center stage—like the ears. These distinct, often quirky funnels are our gateways to sound. For those of us who can hear, listening is a gift—and a choice. When we do choose to listen, it opens us up to perspectives beyond our own, expanding our understanding and even our strength. Sound is essential data in how we navigate the world. I created oversized ears to make her silence visible. In that silence, she is lost—uncertain, searching.
